GovConnect was founded by Shana Benjamin—a veteran intelligence officer, senior government outreach advisor, and workforce innovator—to solve the critical tech talent shortage through registered apprenticeships, leadership development, and cross-sector partnerships. With 15 years of experience in federal staffing, program management, and technology workforce development, Shana has led national security operations at the Pentagon, managed hundreds of classified programs, and spearheaded outreach initiatives for the Army Futures Command.
